“My job is to be sure we get the pipe and structures in the ground.  I try to plan ahead to keep everything moving. Whether it’s ensuring we have all materials needed onsite or identifying any obstructions, obstacles, or work that needs to be done before we lay pipe.  I’m also there to answer any questions the crews or sub contractor might have on site.”

“I don’t have time during the week to do much, but I like to make weekend trips to places.  I enjoy going to the mountains or somewhere on the coast.  I love to fish on my boat on the weekends.”

“I would say my biggest challenge was when I was first starting out.  I did not have the confidence I needed when I was first put in the position as foreman.  Our previous foreman quit, so I was put in the position overnight.  I lacked confidence that I could do the job and that brought along some struggles early on.”
